Food Tour Napoli participates in GetYourGuide’s affiliate programme. If you book a tour through a link or widget on this site, I may receive a small commission. You pay the exact same price you would if you went to GetYourGuide directly.
What does this mean in practice?
All booking links and availability widgets lead to GetYourGuide, a licensed online travel agency. Booking, payment, confirmation, and any cancellations happen there, under their terms and those of the operator. If you book after coming here, GetYourGuide recognises a percentage of their margin to me. This isn’t an added cost to you, and it’s the only way this site is funded.
What doesn’t change
The recommendations. The six tours I review are the most booked in Naples, not the ones that pay the most, and the ratings you see are GetYourGuide’s public data, not my opinion disguised as a number. When a tour has 4.7 and few reviews, I say so instead of hiding it, and I explain it in the reviews. When I think it’s better to explore on your own, I say that too, in is it worth it.
No prices on the site
You won’t find prices listed here, and not out of modesty. Rates change with the season and availability: the only reliable number is the one the GetYourGuide widget shows when you look at it. What I can do is explain what influences it, and I’ve done that in how much a food tour costs.
No relationship with operators
I have no agreements, sponsorships, or exchanges with the pizzerias, bakeries, fried-food stalls, or guides mentioned on the site, and I don’t receive payments for appearing. Frequently asked questions
Do I pay more if I book through your links?
No. The price is identical to what you’d see on GetYourGuide if you went there directly: the commission comes out of their margin, not your pocket. What affects the price is explained in how much it costs.
Does the commission influence your reviews?
No. The six tours reviewed are the most booked in Naples, and the ratings are the operators’ public data. I also tell you when a tour isn’t right for you, and who each tour works best for is in the profiles.
Do you receive money from tour operators?
No, and not from the pizzerias or friggitorie I mention either. The only income comes from GetYourGuide’s affiliate commissions, as explained above and in about us.
